Welcome to Those Old Records Saturday July 4th - Happy Independence Day to our friends in the USA. I was reading the vinyl record sales have "substantially" increased in the UK, Europe and the USA over the past 18 months. This, coupled with a estimated decrease of CD sales by 27% in the same period would suggest a healthy future for vinyl sales. A lot of new releases are seeing a vinyl release as well as the standard CD although I do wish more established artists would think about their "analogue" fans. The Jazz and Blues festival in Lichfield was a great success, hello to everyone who attended, thanks for your support especially regular fair customers who attended.
