A 1970's folk band from Gateshead,  How Long is Forever is Prelude's first album, released in 1973.  The record includes what became their best known track - an a capella version of Neil Young's After the Goldrush.  Spellbinding, haunting and moving.  The album was recorded at Rockfield studios in Monmouthshire, Wales.  Those were the days when proper albums were made, everyone off to the country, man!    The band continues to perform and record, albeit having gone through assorted personnel changes.  However, thE original trio are back together, augmented by Paul Hooper and Keith Tulip.  (I feel I should draw up one of those rock family trees ... but I won't!)
