Those Old Records is delighted to be associated with Sarah Gillespie and proud to be releasing her third album, Glory Days on vinyl.  This release will be limited to 500 copies on 180 gram transparent yellow vinyl with full gloss gatefold sleeve.

It ain't jazz, it certainly isn't folk and like all great music - its really hard to classify which makes the listening experience all the more enjoyable. One of the best lyricists in the country, a great band featuring Sarah Gillespie, Vocals and Guitar, Gilad Atzmon (who also produced the album) on various instruments, Ben Bastin on Bass, Enzo Zirelli - Drums, Kit Downes - Piano and Marcus Bates on French Horn. Don't take my word for it, the album has had many good reviews - The Guardian, The Independent, Financial Times, Mojo and more - Glory Days Review

REVIEWS:

  • Impressionistic lyrics oscillate between the intimate and the infinite - The Independent
  • Vividily powerfully lyrics and glorious forms of folk - Rock n Reel Magazine
  • Glory Days - Her best mix yet of hooky tunes and smart lyrics - Mojo
  • Joni Mitchell and Melanieesque voice, foot tapping music, and captivating lytics - BUZZ Magazine
  • The Interplay between her acoustic guitar and Gilad Atzmon's clarinet sparkles, and the words tumble out unstoppable and direct - The Finacial Times
  • Glory Days reveals Gillespie's song writing to be sharp and astute as ever and her poetic muse undimmed. It also charts her rise to prominence as an instrument. - The Jazz Mann
  • Atzmon called her a "jazz wordsmith", apoetic rebel. She's also a fine guitarist and ardent performer. - London Jazz News.
