Limited edition of 300 copies on TOR Records. One of the best releases on the label, 21 minutes of psyched out wonderment or as Keith Jones from Fruits De Mer said "A shimmering thing of great beauty that ends far far too soon". We have had great reaction to this track both in the shop and on line. We reissued a limited run of Richard's 2006 solo album "Not If But When" earlier this year, which was very well received. This new music is a change of direction and showcases Richard John-Riley's unique talents. Psych meets the Beatles meets Stockhausen meets Pink Floyd.
REVIEWS:
This is a masterpiece production, a wonderful experimental masterpiece. So much to listen to, weird voices, sound samples - sometimes harrowing in places. The lunatics have taken over the radio dial! Locely acoustic guitar passages and chant like vocals. So hard to describe but Richard Riley may have created a mini masterpiece here. Highly recommended psych for the moden age. Beautiful - Heyday Distributors.
Bliss toned woozy weaves of hypno grooved hullucinogenis ...........Mark Barton - The Sunday Experience
Imagine if you will that George Harrison had decided to quit The Beatles in 1967 prior to his input on Sergeant Pepper. He disappears until 1971 when he meets up with Pink Floyd around the time of “MEDDLE” and they decide that they are going to record together with a little help from Florian Fricke (Popol Vuh) and then shelve the results until they join up with Math Rock band Tortoise (circa “Gamera”) and then release the results on an unsuspecting public….. How it works I don’t know but it does" (Chris Sirett)
