TWO CHILDREN SPEAK QUIETLY OF LOVE
John Williams was the lead vocalist in a band called The Authentics with his brother Berne. The Authentics had a residency at London's Marquee, Soho, supporting The Yardbirds. Berne Williams introduced Jimmy Page to the Yardbirds. The band recorded one unreleased single, with Jimmy Page as producer, on harmonica and guitar. John Williams then recorded a solo album for Columbia in 1967 which is exceptional and very hard to find these days. John recorded Maureeny Wishfull with Jimmy Page and Big Jim Sullivan. MW is also hard to find, but exceptionally good. He recorded two tracks with Dave King (Spell) at Shield Studios, Kettering in 1968. I believe that this is the only surviving copy of the acetate. The tracks have been remastered in Austria. There has been a lot of interest in this release especially from Led Zeppelin completists. This release has been approved by John Williams.

It isn't often that a really important piece of music history comes to light these days. This is a unique acetete of John Williams recorded between his first solo album and working with Jimmy Page and Big Jim Sullivan on the highky rated Maureeny Wishful album. 2 great tracks - Dave King - Spell on guitar.
